Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.  A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT BY AN ENTRANT WILL NOT INCREASE THEIR CHANCES OF WINNING.

For persons who enter The Netword “7 Day Getaway” Sweepstakes (the “Promotion”), these rules govern all aspects of participation and Prize award:

Introduction:
 

This Promotion is sponsored by Netword, Inc., 2291 Portola Avenue, Suite A, Ventura, CA 93003 (“Sponsor”) through its website, www.netword.com.  The Supplier (“Supplier”) of this Promotion’s Prize (“Prize”) is: Grand Incentives, Inc., Suite 169-EV, 7560 Commerce Ct., Sarasota, FL, 34243.

ONLY ONE (1) PRIZE WILL BE AWARDED IN THE SWEEPSTAKES. The Prize for which an Entrant is eligible is a 7 day stay at a resort.  Approximate value of the Prize is $1,300.00.  The Winning Entrant will be able to choose one resort from many as offered by the Supplier. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Prize with another of greater or equal value if the designated Prize should become unavailable for any reason.  The odds of winning this Promotion depend on the total number of Entrants.

The Winning Entrant will be selected in a random drawing on or about October 16, 2011 from among all eligible Entries received.  Drawing will be conducted by NETWORD, INC., whose decisions are final.  Winning Entrants will be notified via email at the email address provided on the Netword App registration form (see HOW TO ENTER below), and will have seven (7) days from the date they are first notified to redeem the Prize. If Entrants do not provide a valid email address when registering they will not be able to be contacted, and another Winning Entrant will be chosen in their place. Please allow a maximum of 30 days for Prize delivery.  All applicable federal, state, and local laws apply.

Winning Entrant’s name: for the Winning Entrant’s name, go to www.netword.com/sweepstakes after October 16, 2011 and before December 1, 2011.

Timing:

The Sweepstakes begins on September 1, 2011, at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time (‘PT”) and ends on September 30, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. PT .  Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for this Promotion.

Eligibility: 

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. The Sweepstakes is open ONLY to legal residents of Ventura County, California who are twenty-one (21) years of age or older. Void where prohibited. Employees, officers and directors of Sponsor, their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, and agents, as well as the household members of each such employee, officer and director, and the Prize Supplier (and members of their immediate families and/or those living in the same household of each such employee) are not eligible. By participating, Entrant agrees to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects.

How to Enter:

Enter Online:  During the Promotion period, visit www.netword.com (the “Web Site”) and click on “Get Netword”.  Follow the instructions to install the free Netword Application (“Netword App”); no payment of any kind is required. When you register the Netword App, you automatically become registered in the Promotion. If registration was skipped previously, or if you are a previous Netword user, you may re-install the Netword App and register during the Promotion period to be eligible for the Promotion.

Your personal information and email address is proprietary to us and will NOT be provided to any other source not affiliated with this Promotion.  

Enter by Mail: If an Entrant wishes to enter the Sweepstakes, but for some reason cannot complete registration through the free Netword App, they may submit by US Postal Mail a 4”x6” postcard with the words “NETWORD SWEEPSTAKES” somewhere on the body of the postcard. They must indicate their full name and valid email address, as this is the primary form of contact. Please submit a postcard; no enclosed letters. Postmark date must fall within the times of the Promotion (please see TIMING).

Regarding Entries:

Limit one (1) entry per person and/or computer (based on IP address).  Multiple entries from the same computer (based on IP address) will be disqualified. Sponsor is not responsible for incomplete or inaccurate entries. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an online Entrant, the Prize will be awarded to the authorized account holder of the email address.  The “authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person to whom the email address is assigned by an Internet service provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g. business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.

Conditions of Participation:

Online Entrants must have a valid email address, and it is the Entrant’s responsibility to update Sponsor of any change in email address.  Expenses not specifically included in Prize description and all taxes are the sole responsibility of the winning Entrant.  No transfer, assignment, or substitution of a Prize is permitted.  All federal, state, county and local laws and regulations apply.  Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this Promotion.  The Winning Entrant may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and where legally permissible, a Publicity Release within seven (7) days following the date of first attempted notification.  Failure to comply with this deadline may result in forfeiture of the Prize and selection of an alternate winning Entrant.  Return of any Prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winning Entrant.  Except where prohibited by law, entry constitutes permission to use winning Entrant’s name, likeness and hometown for online posting, and/or any advertising and publicity without notice or compensation. By accepting Prize, winning Entrant agrees to hold Sponsor, its advertising and promotional agencies, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, representative agents, successors, assigns, officers, directors, and employees harmless for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused by participation in the Promotion or acceptance or use of the Prize.  Sponsor is not responsible for any printing, typographical, mechanical, or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Promotion, or in the announcement of the Prize.

Terms and Conditions for The Prize as set forth by Supplier:

Primary Traveler must be at least 21 years old. All resorts have specific arrival days and check-in times.  If you will be arriving after the specified arrival date or check in time, you must contact the resort PRIOR to your scheduled arrival date to make late arrival arrangements.  No rooms will be held past the specified arrival date without prior approval from the resort.  No exceptions.  A major credit card and/or security deposit may be required upon check in.  This offer is for room only and does not include incidental charges such as telephone calls, meals or miscellaneous charges incurred by guest. Some condominium resorts require additional fees for use of certain amenities and facilities.  These fees are determined and collected at host resort.  Occupancy taxes and other such fees (i.e. key, security, damage, utility, etc.) that may be required by certain resorts are guest responsibility.  It is the sole responsibility of guest to determine and obtain the proper documentation necessary to travel outside the United States.  All reservations are subject to availability.  Once confirmed, all reservations are final.  Name changes are not permitted on a confirmed booking. Travel must be booked within 12 months from date of receiving the vacation. Travel must be completed within 18 months from date of receipt. Once Winning Entrant receives the Resort Vacation Certificate, they will activate the certificate by mail. The Winning Entrant will then receive an email on how to book the vacation. Please allow 10 -14 days from activation to receive these emailed instructions.

THIS OFFER DOES NOT OFFER TRAVEL; TRAVEL TO AND/OR FROM THE RESORT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNING ENTRANT.

Internet:

Sponsor is not responsible for electronic-transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone-equipment, electronic, computer, hardware, or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof.  If, for any reason, the Internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Promotion, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Promotion. Sponsor reserves the right to select winning Entrants from eligible entries received as of the termination date. Sponsor further reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.  Sponsor may prohibit an Entrant from participating in a Promotion if it determines that said Entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices, or intending to abuse, threaten, or harass other Entrants. Caution:  Any attempt by a participant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such participant to the fullest extent of the law.
